We post this picture with caution and let me tell you why. We are not wearing a mask to be glamorous, to be “on-trend” or to mock Covid-19 we are wearing a mask for the safety and protection of ourselves and our guests coming into the salon. The CDC recommends wearing a mask in public settings where other social distancing measures are hard to maintain. The CDC has learned from recent studies that a significant portion of individuals with covid-19 are asymptomatic meaning they lack symptoms and can unknowingly infect others. Wearing a mask can not only protect you from contracting the virus it can also protect others if you may have the virus but not know it. If you decide to wear a mask we respect your decision to do so and we will work around it for your in-salon services. It is important to us that our guests know that we are doing everything in our power to keep you safe for this virus and frankly any other virus as well. We will be changing the way we do things for awhile so please be patient with us while we get used to the new policies that we will be implementing.
We have a full sterilization procedure of all areas of our station in-between each guest including tools used and shampoo bowls. We will be cleaning frequently touched surfaces like door handles and tabletop surfaces every 10-15 minutes. We are implementing a split shift schedule meaning we cut the day in half and will now have a morning and evening shift with a cleaning time in-between. We will be utilizing every other salon chair to stay inline with social distancing guidelines.
We ask that you stay in your car when you arrive for your appointment support staff or your service provider will call or text you when they are ready to take you for your appointment we also ask that you come alone to your appointment in an effort to limit the number of guests in the building at one time. When you arrive for your appointment please wash your hands or use the provided hand sanitizer at our sanitization table. All magazine’s have been removed but you can use our free Wi-Fi or bring a book to your appointment. Our self service drink and snack bar will be closed at this time but don’t worry our support staff and service providers will be more than happy to get you a water or cup of joe!
